Scoring review and what is GTMetrics, how to score 100 sites in GTMetrics and what is the best way to optimize the site and
Hello, fellow Itroz Academy members, we are with you in the article How to Make a Site Score 100 in GTMetrics. We want to examine this issue.
Reviewing things like What is GTmetrix? Internal SEO and External SEO with GTmetrix , Scoring in GTmetrix , How to get a site score of 100 in GTmetrix , Optimization with GTmetrix , Best Practices Site Optimization, and finally Beyond GTmetrix. You can also listen to the audio file of this article if you don't feel like reading it.
First, let's explain what GTmetrix is, what this website does, and why it has become so popular in the world and why all SEOs and web developers are using this website for optimization.
GTmetrix is an analytics website that helps SEOs optimize websites.
Of course, the entire SEO and website optimization work does not end here and is much broader than that, but there is a meter between the SEO work and the employer, where the employer can see exactly the status of the website through GTMetrics, see what the status of the website is, and when the SEO worker starts his work, he can ultimately have an assessment of the work that the SEO worker is doing and know whether he has really done the job or not.
Because SEO is a very technical topic and ordinary people do not have specific information about it, they do not know whether the person doing it is really doing it or not. And even if it is, it will take a long time and there is no way to immediately determine whether the SEO work has really been done. That is why the GTmetrix website can be very helpful in this regard. Employers and people who want to see their website information in terms of SEO optimization can enter this website, enter their site address, and see what the status of their website is.
The GTMetrics website is mostly used for on-page SEO. Of course, it is also used for keyword SEO, but it is most commonly used for on-page SEO because in on-page SEO we examine various parameters of the website.
But in external SEO this is not done and work is done directly on other sections. For external SEO and keywords, we believe that internal SEO must be done before external SEO and keyword SEO can be done. If internal SEO is not done, keyword SEO will be extremely difficult to do. That is why one of the requirements of keyword SEO is internal SEO. In this section, we work a lot with JIT metrics and use it.
The question that may arise for you is what sites score 100 in GTmetrix, and this is a question that many people ask us. We have no limits on how many websites can reach 100. Of course, reaching 100 is an incredibly high number, and it is very rare for a website to actually reach 100. It is not easy for a website to reach 100 in GTmetrix, but above 90. Now, later I will explain the rankings to you, how it is that above 90 is a good rank, but there is no limit on sites.
All web-based websites and platforms have the potential to be optimized and score 100 on GTmetrix.
Of course, I will say again that a score above 90 is a good score and is acceptable. Among sites similar to GTMetrics, I can recommend the Google Webmaster Tools website, where you can also check the speed of your website.
It examines various elements and works almost like GTmetrix, of course, it is under the supervision of Google and is one of Google's services, and GTmetrix is another company that works independently.
When you enter the GTMetrics website, you enter your website address there, wait a few moments, and the website's server from Canada and Vancouver will check your website and finally show you a result.
You might think that all website optimization includes the parts that GTmetrix is showing you, but that's not the case. Website optimization is much more extensive and extensive than GTmetrix. Sometimes we even witness this, and it's a very common occurrence for us because we approach this scientifically. But I want to say this for the information of users who don't know about this topic. You might even check your website in GTmetrix and your score might not be good, but you might rank on Google, even on the first page of Google, for a series of keywords.
Well, if I were to talk about this, it would go back to page traffic, meaning there are a series of words that are not very important words and there are words about which there is not much information on the internet. Even if your website is not optimized and has not been optimized, it still has the potential to come to the first page for those words.
And now to be in a series of positions, you must have a very high grade.
Until your website has a very good trend in low-traffic keywords, of course, their number is very limited, meaning what I say may be used more as an example and may not be practical because the internet and online markets are competitive markets, even in businesses whose keywords have less traffic.
Again, nothing is true, but theoretically it is feasible and there is no reason why that website must have a very acceptable score in GTmetrix in order to rank well in keywords.
But in order for you to get a good color in high-traffic keywords, which I'm talking about now, internal and external SEO are separate topics, you must work very hard on your internal SEO, which is not limited to GTMetrics. Those who work professionally in SEO and have many examples of working on high-traffic keywords definitely know that it is not limited to GTMetrics. There are many different elements and items that you must work on, analyze, review, and fix so that you can be successful in those keywords.
Now, if we want to examine in a very general way what parts GTMetrix analyzes in general and what parts need to be optimized.
Some people believe that website optimization or website SEO is limited to the front end and that the appearance of the website must be SEOed, its coding must be SEOed, and now scripts and a number of other things must be SEOed. This belief is neither wrong nor right. Now I will tell you exactly why we have divided it into three parts.
The case is a front-end section, a back-end section, and a hardware and software section. All three of these sections can be effective in optimizing a website.
And they are effective in ensuring that a website performs well, which is precisely what affects website SEO. A website can fail to perform well.
Even in terms of hardware and software, whether your host or server uses a high-speed hard drive or not will definitely affect your website's SEO.
Even if you use a host or a server, it will still be effective, but all of these have a lot of ifs and buts because in general, we say that it is better to use a server.
Because it has more resources and you can have very high speeds, and now you have other features that you can't have in the hosting areas and you have them on the server.
But in one place this can be wrong because if a server is not configured well, a configured host is much better than an unconfigured server.
A host that has good quality is actually much better than a server that does not have good quality. I don't want to go into details now because it is really a very specialized discussion and ordinary people cannot distinguish these things and experts should give their opinion on these things.
But I want to look at these in general terms, so we have a front-end part, a back-end part, and a hardware and software part.
You might think that SEO or website optimization is only about the front end.
Of course, it's not far-fetched if you have the same idea, because most SEO work focuses on the front-end.
But we want to say that since we are looking at this in general, we want to say that the backend is also important. Good programming can have an impact.
Site speed is the requests you see to the server. If the programming is not good, these requests and their speed can increase. I also explained the hardware about it, as well as the software used on the host or on the server. It is extremely important to configure them and other things also have an impact.
But I can say that 80-90 percent of the front end is involved with SEO and website optimization, but other parts are also influential. We really can't say that other parts are unimportant.
Because if any of the other parts are not configured well and do not work well, they can really affect your front end, even if your front end has worked very well. That's why we divided it into three parts: front end, back end, and hardware and software, so we can say that all three parts are involved.
These three sections are absolutely important, but the front end is what SEOs are most concerned with and involved with.
Now that we have explained this far, we can conclude that GTMetrics comes and examines the front-end of our site, meaning it examines the appearance of our website and lists various elements. What exactly are these elements?
Now, if you went to this website and tested it yourself, you would see that you would encounter much more than what we have mentioned in this article, but we have talked about the important parts because each website can have different errors depending on the problem it has, so I would like to explain a few errors and tasks that are done routinely.
The things that GTmetrix checks are internal and external scripts. It checks scripts in various ways because scripts are one of the important parts of a website, in terms of errors, in terms of whether they are minified, and in terms of compression.
As the saying goes, scripts are reviewed. Internal scripts must meet a set of standards. External scripts must meet a set of standards. It comes in different items and defines different scenarios and reviews the scripts exactly according to those scenarios.
After that, CSS are reviewed, and then there are the website images, which again come from different perspectives and are reviewed, and now it's in terms of image size.
According to the standard, the encoding must be followed for the image and other things are all checked. It is the error that is checked.
Maybe in the example I'm talking about, you came up with an image tag and you set a size that is not the original size of that image, and this is an error. Even if you check this error with other software, you will see that your HTML has no errors, but in terms of site optimization and SEO, this is exactly one line.
These are things that GTMetrics examines. Of course, these are things that professional SEOs can solve with their eyes closed, and it's not something that requires the help of a software, but GTMetrics really has many uses.
GT Metrics checks coding issues and now to some extent checks host or server resources, and these were the things that we would like to mention in general.
These are the parameters it uses. I don't want the time to exceed 20 minutes, so I'll try to explain it very quickly.
So, we've told you so far what GTmetrix is, what elements it checks, and what happens in the end. Now you've entered your website address into this website.
Omad also told you a series of elements, but what happens in the end is that it gives you a rank, a score to know where your website is in terms of website optimization or SEO.
These numbers are made up of the letters A - B - C - D, where A is positive 90, meaning that if your website gets a positive 90, it will get an A grade, B grade is lower than A grade, and C - D grades are not really very good grades.
If your website is not Grade A but Grade B – C - D, then it definitely needs to be optimized so that it gets a very good grade and can rank for important keywords.
