Online advertising is a method of advertising on the Internet. Online advertising is made up of different methods
The Internet has introduced new methods of advertising, and these advertisements have grown significantly in recent years and have attracted the attention of audiences. Today, we want to examine online advertising.
Affiliate sales collaboration system or relationship sales. Introduce other users to other online users in exchange for a commission for selling or providing services on your site, blog, or through links provided to you.
The affiliate sales collaboration system consists of a product, a network, a publisher, and a customer. Its work is based on the Internet and can be divided into 4 parts.
Pay per sale Pay per signup Pay per visitor Pay per view
One of the most common methods of online advertising is advertising on classifieds sites, and useful information has been published on itroz in this regard, including:
You can introduce your products and services through classifieds sites.
One of the most famous advertising sites is Alibaba.
And similar Persian examples include the above sites listed.
Over the past ten years, more than five hundred websites have been active in the field of placing advertisements in Iran, and you can view the list of these websites and list your products and services in them through the keyword placing advertisements in Google.
We will return to advertising methods before placing advertisements on the Internet.
Suppose you own a business and want to promote it.
We use the most common advertising options.
Advertising in specialized magazines and advertising in directories.
I will review the workflow for advertising in the magazine, selecting appropriate content, designing a suitable layout, editing and approving the magazine's printing layout. Now, the first option for advertising in magazines is to know the delivery time of the information.
After submitting the information, it will take time for the designer to design and finalize the design to achieve your desired design.
The cost you pay for advertising in the magazine includes the cost of paper, printing, and other costs to get the magazine to your audience, and it can be said that a lot of time is spent from start to placement of the ad.
The activity of advertising sites in Iran is not very old and dates back to ten years ago. Before that, media and newspapers played a large role in advertising, but with the passage of time and the entry of the Internet into homes and its widespread use, a huge advertising platform emerged and the advertising industry underwent a major change.
Today, social media is overtaking traditional media such as television.
About ten years ago, advertising websites were formed in Iran and grew at a remarkable rate for the following reasons:
Availability to the public, easy placement of advertisements, easy viewing of advertisements, a suitable platform for communication between businesses, reasonable prices, and positive feedback were the main reasons for the development of these sites.
The structure of these websites includes several layers of job categories. The first layer contains the main job groupings and the next layer contains the subgroups. To advertise, you first become a member of the website and insert, edit, and... your ad through the control panel.
In Iran, it is divided into two general methods.
Free of charge Free advertising placement: In this method, by joining advertising sites, you can include your products and services and register them for free.
Free advertisements are not displayed on all pages of the site and are only visible in the same category and move to the next pages when other advertisements are inserted.
Therefore, the percentage of ads being seen on the site is greatly reduced.
But the same method worked in the last few years, meaning that when you posted a new ad on ad placement sites, after a few days or weeks, you would see customer calls. Even though your ad was barely visible on the site, your customers surprisingly increased day by day. But how?
Your placed ad will be visible in search engines, including Google, after a few days after being registered on the site.
And over time, with activity on the ad, the ads were redirected to the first page of Google, which led to more views of the ad and more customer calls to you.
However, with the passage of time, the advancement of online commerce and the increase in the number of advertising sites, reaching the first page of Google has become inaccessible in some cases due to the high traffic of the sites.
Today, reaching the first page of Google has become very important and is possible with specialized skills and knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization) techniques.
Paying for advertising: Advertising sites have thousands of pages, but one of their most important pages that receives the most visits is the home page.
The front page of these sites is very important, and the location of the advertisement on it is very important to increase the number of views for that advertisement.
After the home page, the main group pages are very important because the second step most users take is clicking and entering these pages.
There are other pages that also lose their importance, such as sub-groups and ads pages.
The cost difference on advertising sites varies precisely on the basis that the templates are known as starred ads.
Starred ads mean that they are important to display on the top pages.
The higher the number of stars, the more frequently viewed sections the ad will appear in.
For example, when you choose a 7-star ad, it means that your ad will be displayed on all pages of the site, from the home page to groups and sub-groups, etc., and it has a greater impact. The fewer stars you choose, the less likely the ad will be displayed on important pages.
Difference in advertising costs with magazines: Due to the aforementioned advantages, magazines cannot compete with advertising sites.
Advertisement sites are publicly available and can grow infinitely, but magazines are limited, which is why the cost of an ad is much less than the cost of an ad in a magazine.
For several years now, click-based advertising has found its rightful place. In the past, these advertisements were implemented in other ways that did not attract the attention of the audience and disappeared, but today, click-based advertising has made great progress and has attracted the attention of the audience. Fortunately, Persian examples of these advertisements are available in Iran, and three major click-based advertising sites such as Saba Vehaq, anetwork, and Klik Yab can be mentioned.
In pay-per-click advertising, there are two categories of people: those who want to advertise and those who want to earn income.
Advertisers are typically business owners who want to promote their services and products to general and specific audiences.
Advertisers are people who own websites or blogs that are popular and want to make money from their websites or blogs.
All of these people enter pay-per-click advertising websites, but each one works differently.
The method is very simple and after entering the site, the advertiser selects their plan based on the budget and requests an order.
However, after approval and having the necessary facilities for advertising, advertisers place the desired script on the site after entering the site, according to the size intended for their site or blog.
PPC ads are divided into two general categories.
Moving and fixed banners in sizes that violate text ads with content restrictions. After the ad is registered and approved, the advertiser's ad will be displayed on the advertiser's sites. However, advertisers do not pay for the ad to be seen on the advertiser's site, but rather pay for the user's click, and the cost of the audience's click goes to the advertiser's account.
The main difference between the two is in the display of the ad. In advertising, you pay for the daily or monthly display of the ad, and your ad includes content, images, and video, but in click-through advertising, you pay for each click the audience makes on the ad, and your ad is either an image or content with limited characters.
Online commerce has introduced new ways of advertising, and each can be useful.
Any advertisement will get good feedback if it is done with needs assessment and review. Therefore, be sure to do the necessary reviews before advertising.
